Life Sciences
The primary focus of the life sciences group is fundamental biology with a focus on translational research in the domain. The group works on different aspects of biology including disease biology, agricultural biology, immunology, cardiovascular biology, neurobiology and bioinformatics. The projects executed here has an amalgamation of scientists from the centre with clinicians, industries and scientists from other walks of science. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in the areas of biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology, the unit aims to conduct research on various facets of biology.
The biology group extends its hand to scientists from both academia and industry for collaborations, consultancies and also offers training programs to students and researchers in various disciplines of biology.
