We are happy to announce that Dr. Sobha L of Information Sciences has received R & D Project titled "Discourse Integrated Dravidian Language to Dravidian Language Machine Translation (DL-DiscoMT)" for Rs. 11.79 Crore from MeitY, Govt.of India. This is a consortium project. AU-KBC is the Consortium Leader and 6 other consortium members are: IIIT Hyd, CDAC-Noida, University of Hyderabad, MIT Manipal, ICFOSS and DAIICT

Tamil Wiki Meetup (விக்கி மாரத்தான் பயிலரங்கு) Workshop was conducted in collaboration with Tamil Wikipedia Group

Tamil Wiki Meetup (விக்கி மாரத்தான் பயிலரங்கு) Workshop was conducted in colby CLRG group.The workshop went well and the participants had a good experience. The participants came from various colleges in the state and also it was attended by few working professionals having interest in Tamil Content Creation. The participants were provided training on how to create and edit wikipedia articles. A full half-day hands-on lab session was also given to the participants.
