AU-KBC Research Centre of Anna University ,Chennai and Apollo Hospitals Educational & Research Foundation, Chennai jointly conduct two Cilnical Research Training Programs.

• Full Time Advanced Certificate Course (PG Level) in Clinical Research (ACC-CR)

• Part Time Certificate Course in Clinical Research (CC-CR)

                The primary aim and scope of these programs is to make the candidates immediately employable as Clinical Research Associates (CRA s) and Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC s) with leading CRO firms, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Companies, Investigators, Sponsors, Regulatory and Training Institutes etc.

            The full-time ACC-CR Program of One year duration consists about 2000 contact hours inclusive of Six months CRC Internship. The Part-Time (Week ends) CC-CR Program of Four months duration consists about 250 contact hours including five days of observership.

            The Theory part of these programs is held at the AU-KBC Research Centre, M I T Campus of Anna University Chennai, Chromepet, Chennai-44, and the practicals and internship are held at the AHERF/Apollo Hospitals premises.

                The faculty of these programs are drawn from leading academic institutions, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, CRO s, hospitals, clinics etc., and they possess strong hands on experience and expertise in the diverse areas covered in these programs.

            These programs uniquely combine the academic rigour and discipline of Anna University Chennai with the professionalism and practical emphasis of AHERF to produce quality trained manpower for the emerging Indian and global Clinical Research Industry.
